Fruit bread
Ingredients:
- 100g strong white bread flour
- 125g mix of fours (wholewheat, rye, oat, oat flakes)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 100 ml milk
- knob of butter
- 1 egg
- mix of dried fruit and nuts; a grated apple
- spices
- 1 egg yolk, to glaze
Timing:
Make the day before so it has a chance to cool down.
Makes:
4 servings
How to make:
Melt the butter and let cool. Mix the flour with the yeast. Knead adding more bread flour if the mixture is too wet. Knead the fruit and nuts in.
Let rise and bake as usual.
